We checked out Niagara Falls on the way to Maine but, it was the middle of the night and we couldn't see too well. It was pretty neat even in the dark. We had to walk through the border patrol to see it better from the Canada side, and that was fun. Ok, so when we got to Baxter State Park, we started questioning whether we would be able climb when we saw snow on the ground. There had been 8 inches of snow a week before. There was enough to cover Mt. Katahdin so we had to settle for Horse Hill Mountain. It was a good hike to do, though, because Reilly and I were having a little trouble at first. After we warmed up on that one, we were ready to climb some more so we went up a big rock cliff. As I'm writing this, we are sitting at Port Clyde on the coast of Maine. I guess this is the lighthouse that Forrest Gump to when he was run-ning. You see it for about four seconds, I think. Reilly, Matt Shroyer and I are switching between election results and Bob Dylan on the radio while Justin is writing outside in the freezing cold wind. Leaving the site at Baxter S.P.
